Admiral Fitzroy Barometer

This is one of the most popular designs of the Admiral Fitzroy barometer. It is named after the admiral who was weather forecaster to Charles Darwin and captain of the ‘Beagle’. The frame is solid mahogany with a copy of the old fashioned chart as a background. It has a mercury filled tube with a red spirit thermometer, storm glass and two side brass pointers to check the rise and fall of the barometer.
