The Newton takes it style from the neo-classical period and features four finely turned pillars, with capitals to top and bottom and a carved scrolled decor mounted on an ogee base. The traditional 8 day key wound mechanical movement is encapsulated in a brass drum, which is suspended from the tiered top.
